Hey Splash Campers!  Mark your calendars for Splash Camps 2011 held at Camp Oak Hills in Bemidji MN.  This year we will run camp the week of July 24-29.  Our theme will be "Graffiti...Where is God's signature?"  Our scripture this year is Proverbs 7:1-3:

" My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.  Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.  Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart."

We are having a contest for the Theme of Splash Camps. We need a theme WITH a scripture verse for 2011. Good themes are three words or less with a subtitle if needed (i.e. Feel the Burn: God's wrath for everyday believers) Themes should also have a Bible Verse that relates to the them. This contest starts today (December 11) and runs through January 15th. The winner will be announced on January 21st.

The sun was heavily setting low on the horizon.  The air was tingling with anticipation.  There was a flurry of activity.  And then....the SCREAM!  "The campers are here!"  Sunday July 25th we welcomed groups from Salem Lutheran, Northwoods Community and Evangelical Lutheran Cokato.
